Motorcycle will not start: a practical order of checks
A starter that does not turn and an engine that cranks but will not fire are different problems.
First separate the symptom. Does the starter stay silent, turn slowly, or crank the engine normally without it firing? That distinction helps separate battery and starter-circuit issues from fuel or ignition faults.
Battery terminals, main fuse, earth connections and voltage behaviour while cranking are sensible first checks. If cranking speed is normal, fuel delivery, ignition and model-specific safety sensors become more relevant.
Repeated long cranking can flatten the battery and hide the original fault. Stop if wiring becomes hot, fuel smell is strong or there is an abnormal mechanical noise.
This is general technical guidance. Torque values, service limits, pressures and parts compatibility must be confirmed for the exact model and year.
