Scooter shudders on take-off: separating belt, variator and clutch faults
Take-off shudder is not automatically a belt problem; clutch engagement and friction surfaces matter too.
Note whether the vibration happens only from a standstill, after the transmission warms up or within a particular speed range. That pattern is useful evidence.
Belt condition and width, variator and roller movement, clutch shoes and bell surface should be checked against model-specific service limits.
Incorrect parts, heavy CVT dust, glazed friction surfaces or assembly errors can create similar symptoms.
This is general technical guidance. Torque values, service limits, pressures and parts compatibility must be confirmed for the exact model and year.
