Engine Oil Level and Correct Specification
Engine oil service is not only about quantity. Viscosity, motorcycle-specific specification and the correct level for the exact model and year matter for lubrication, clutch behaviour and long-term wear.
What is reviewed?
- Check the motorcycle in the position specified by the manufacturer
- Read the sight glass or dipstick using the correct procedure
- Inspect visible oil condition, odour and contamination
- Confirm viscosity and required standard from reliable model data
- Check for leakage or abnormal oil loss
Model-specific limit: Exact oil capacity and viscosity must be verified for the specific model, year and version; one universal value is not applied to every motorcycle.
